Bill Ward speaks at a press conference Wednesday in Arlington. Ward is the owner of Ward Timber and has been fighting the proposed Marvin Nichols Reservoir for 14 years. The reservoir would decimate the local timber industry that his company is dependent on and would result in exhaustive damage to the northeast Texas region's economy.
