Commissioners to go ahead with land purchase

Commissioners agreed with the sheriff during commissioners’ court on Monday morning to pursue a location for a new county jail to be built for Cass County inmates.
In an effort to start the process of getting all the inmates back in Cass County, Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe said he took the lead to investigate potential property for a potential jail and contacted property owners near the Justice Center.
