County to purchase surge suppressant for justice center

After suffering three hits to the Cass County Law Enforcement and Justice Center building
Cass County Commissioners agreed to purchase a surge suppressant and phase protector for the justice center.
A phase protector is a surge suppressant device that should protect the electrical system including the chiller from becoming damaged due to electrical spikes or surges which are often triggered when limbs fall and hit power lines.
