Longhorns split final two games

McLeod wrapped up the James Bowie Tournament with a 59-38 win over Maud and a 45-21 loss to Redwater.
The game was close before the Longhorns went on a 17-4 run which gave them a 34-20 lead at the intermission.
Boe McLaurin led all scorers with 19 points and teammate Jackson Baker added 13 points; two of those baskets were from beyond the arch.
In the consolation final, the ’Horns battled Redwater to a 14-14 tie at the half, but the Dragons outscored McLeod 31-7 in the second half to seal the victory.
McLaurin led the Longhorns’ scoring threat with 10 points.
