Beatrice Daniels’ life journey in an ever-changing Cass County
EDITOR’S NOTE: We are sad to report the death of long-time Citizens Journal contributor Beatrice Daniels this week. She passed away at age 98. Daniels’ contributions to this publication and the communities of Cass County have been numerous. The following feature appeared in our Mature Living Special Section in July of this year. We extend our sincere condolensces to the family and loved ones of Beatrice Daniels and know that her life and legacy will not soon be forgotten.

Beatrice Daniels. That name may ring a bell with our Atlanta Citizens Journal readers, and for good reason.
The 98 year-old still writes for the publication weekly, submitting her area news highlights for the readers here. Her stories highlight the comings and goings of the Shiloh community, just west of Atlanta. Birthdays, church and social events, people who have fallen ill or passed on- these are all topics for her short news pieces. Very little goes on that she is not privy to.
