JULIA JO STRINGER

Julia Jo Stringer, 80, of Queen City, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in a Texarkana hospital.
She was born Sept. 26, 1933, in Bowie County to R. V. and Clyde Lamb. She was retired from Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative, was a member of First Baptist Church of Queen City and loved gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Stringer; two sons, Michael Stringer and David Stringer; and a brother, Robert Lamb.
She is survived by three sons, Paul Stringer and wife Toni of Atlanta, Ronald Stringer and wife Carla of Longview and Jody Stringer of Atlanta; eight grandchildren, Jared Stringer and wife Jennifer, Kyli Kaye Caver and husband Chris, Jason Stringer and wife Dawn, Elisa Stringer, Keli Stringer, Kirk Stringer, Michael Stringer and wife Mandi and Mark Stringer and wife Holli; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Billy Dupree officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
