C. D. Corban, 69, of Queen City, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 5, 1944, in Roxie, Miss., to Lonnie and Bessie Corban. He was retired from Stebbins Engineering, a Vietnam army veteran and was a Baptist by faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Nancy Corban of Queen City; two daughters, Tammy Tillie of Queen City and Jennifer Wagner and husband Jason of Queen City; two brothers, David Corban and wife Margie of Pearl, Miss., and Sammy Corban and wife Brenda of Ferriday, La.; one sister, Thelma Allgood of Natchez, Miss.; four grandchildren, Brooke Wagner, Savannah Tillie, Rachael Wagner and Braden Tillie; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Queen City Cemetery with Bro. Mike Lovely officiating under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
