Zelma M. Pugh, 88 of Queen City, formerly of Bloomburg, went to be with the Lord Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, in Texarkana, Ark.
She was born March 4, 1925, in Miller County, Ark., to Presley and Ida Davis. She was retired from Allday’s Department Store and was a member of Queen City Assembly of God. She enjoyed playing dominos and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvanus Pugh; her parents; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by one son, Dannie Pugh and wife Emily of Texarkana, Ark.; a daughter, Patricia Farr and husband Algie of Chandler, Az.; four grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Hanner Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Fred Calhoun, Rev. Harold Walls and Rev. Larry Pyle officiating. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
The family will be at the home of Dannie and Emily Pugh, 5430 Rocky Creek Rd., Texarkana, Ark.
