Social epidemic affects all ages in today’s society

“Teen takes life; social bullying at fault,” “Disgruntled employee takes hostages; says supervisor, co-workers to blame.” These headlines are becoming more common across America as we deal with the traumatic experiences related to the growing epidemic of bullying – most common against our children, but also among adults, who have been dealing with the problem in the workplace for years.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month, as the growing problem is brought to the fore front in hopes of making the public more aware, and how best as parents, educators, and society, we can do our part to recognize the signs of bullying, and hopefully intervene before a potential tragedy unfolds.
