L-K CISD takes top honors in Accountability Ratings

What seemed to many the longest two years possible the staff and school board of LK CISD celebrated the release of district and campus ratings.
The story begins in 2011 when all district and campus ratings were frozen for two years. At that time, Linden-Kildare CISD was rated Acceptable, Linden Elementary Recognized, Mae Luster Stephens Junior High Acceptable and Linden-Kildare High School was rated Academically Unacceptable due to poor scores in mathematics. Due to legislative action, a change in the accountability system was made and these ratings remained the same.
