1 dead following domestic dispute

Shooting may be ruled self defense pending further investigation

Jean Ann Haltom is dead after being shot by her husband Saturday morning during a domestic dispute. Both she and her husband, local gun shop owner, Christopher Haltom received gunshot wounds in that incident.
On Sept. 14 at 2:04 a.m., Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the couple's 12 year-old son to report a shooting at his home.
