Mayor tells Ross city not responsible for water damage

Queen City’s municipal government will not accept responsibility for water damages at a property located at 305 Pinewilderness, according to Mayor Harold Martin. 
The property owner, Bill Ross, addressed the city council at their regular meeting Thursday night to ask that the city take care of a $2,000 bill to repair damages to a property at that location. He believed that the repairs should fall, at least in part, on the city because the water line that leaked and caused the damage was city property...
