WILLIE RAY FIKE
Oct. 7, 1932 - May 7, 2017
Willie Ray Fike, 84, of Texarkana, formerly of Oil City, La., went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 7, 2017, at a Texarkana hospice house.
He was retired from Shreve Operators and was Pentecostal by faith. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching westerns, doing anything outdoors and put on a mean fish fry. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Dean Hinds Fike.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Fike and wife Debbi of Blanchard, La., and Kenneth Fike of Vivian, La.; two daughters, Carolyn Reed and husband Ron of Davenport, Iowa, and Ann Cottrell and husband Richard of West Monroe, La.; special niece, Fay Jones of Fouke, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Independence Cemetery in Fouke, Ark., under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Wes Chambers officiating.
The family would like to express thanks to The Villa of Texarkana for their love and care of our Dad.

CARROLL GENE ‘KEYHOLE’ GHOLSON
April 19, 1931 - May 6, 2017
Carroll Gene “Keyhole” Gholson, 86, of Shreveport, La., formerly of Bivins, died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at his residence.
He was born April 19, 1931, in Cass County, to James and Ellie Gholson. He was retired from Texas Department of Public Safety, was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Atlanta and Jim’s Bayou Masonic Lodge. He served in the U. S. Army during the Bay of Pigs Invasion. He loved spending time with family and gardening. 
He was preceded in death by his sister, Geraline Maxwell; three brothers, Theron Gholson, Lawrence Gholson and Horace Gholson; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Gholson of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Kerry Gholson of Arnaudville, La., and James Gholson of Marshall; two daughters, Sandy Glover and husband Wayne of Linden and Mona Anzualda of Linden; two step-sons, Robert May of Shreveport and Adam McWilliams of Shreveport; step-daughter, Sarah Toups of Shreveport; brother, Lindy Gholson of Texarkana; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Atlanta with Kevin Rougeau officiating. Interment will be in Center Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

BRIAN ALLEN WILLIAMS
Aug. 30, 1999 - April 29, 2017
Brian Allen Williams, 17, of Douglasville, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017, at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
He was a student at Atlanta High School. He loved music and planned to attend Full Sale Academy after finishing school. He played the violin and taught himself how to play the guitar, banjo and keyboards. He was a certified soccer coach and referee. He would also work on engines, motors and would build things in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Allen Williams.
He leaves behind his mother, Terri Lynn Williams; his grandparents, Ronnie and Charlotte Walters; his brothers and sisters, Christopher Williams, Rebecca Williams, Mathew Williams, Melodie Cotten, Kord Walters and Harmonie Cotton; and many other family members and friends who have been extremely supportive in our time of grief.
A special “thank you” goes to the team of doctors and nurses who cared for Brian and his family.
Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Atlanta with Father Dan Gonzales officiating.
 
FRANCES VICTORIA ‘VICKI’ GULLION
Oct. 13, 1945 - April 10, 2017
Frances Victoria “Vicki” Gullion, 71, of Marshall, formerly of Atlanta, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at the T. Boone Pickens Palliative Care and Hospice in Dallas with her life partner at her side.
She was born Oct. 13, 1945, to Guy and Sue Gullion in Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dr. Jerry Gullion
She is survived her life partner, Joy Schreiber; sister-in-law, Sallie Gullion; niece, Laura Gullion; nephew, Guy Gullion;  and numerous relatives and friends.
She was a joyous and raucous soul, whom everyone loved, without exception.
She attended high school in Dallas at the Hockaday School and then majored in drama at Texas Tech University. Following graduation, she taught drama and produced plays at under privileged schools and children's theatres.
Then she became one of the first two women to train as field managers for Shell Oil Company, where she managed a section of the oil fields for 20 years.
The 1990s, she moved to Dallas, where she embarked on a highly successful career in sales at Sewall Motors and was named "Salesman of the Year" more than once.
She was cremated and her ashes will fertilize the soil of her beloved ranch. A private celebration will be in June in Marshall.

James “Coy” Hamilton, 97, of Linden, died Thursday, May 4, 2017.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden.

March 27, 1939 - May 1, 2017
Gay Keasler, 78, of Avinger, died Monday, May 1, 2017.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, at Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Interment followed at Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs.

Dec. 19, 1938 - April 29, 2017
Martha A. Meadows, 78, of Ore City, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at her residence.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Ore City. Interment followed at Coffeeville Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Ore City.

Feb. 10, 1945 - April 26, 2017
Roy Stiger, 72, of Atlanta, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment followed at the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden.
