Davis joins Hall of Fame

Darryl Davis was inducted into Jarvis Christian College Hall of Fame on March 25. The awards Gala celebrated the college’s 105-year Founder Day Homecoming.
Davis is a graduate of Booker T. Washington, Atlanta, Class of ‘69. In 1973, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins in Business Administration. He completed additional studies from The University of Pfizer, Management Association International and Leadership Institute.
In 2011, Davis retired as a senior sales manager for Pfizer Pharmaceutical after 33 years. The highlight of his career with Pfizer was in March 2008, when he was inducted into the Pfizer Hall of Fame for his outstanding leadership, dedicated service and sales accomplishments.
Darryl is a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Okla., where he is active in the social service department, senior choir, VIP ministry and the board of directors for St. John Christian Academy. He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Sigma Pl Phi Fraternity. He is an ambassador for the American Heart Association, and member of the Board of Trustees for Jarvis Christian College.
Davis’ passion for helping others has earned recognition from a number of organizations.
For the past 15 years, he has been owner and CEO of Davis and Davis Inc. real estate company in Oklahoma City. Davis is married to Cynthia and they have two sons, Derrick and Arron. They also have six granddaughters. He is the son of Mille and Raphael Davis and the brother of Raphaelle Huckaby.
