Business Women’s Luncheon April 26

The tradition of honoring and recognizing local women in the workforce will continue on Wednesday, April 26 with the latest installment of the annual Business Women’s Luncheon, hosted by the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce (AACOC) in partnership with the Atlanta Citizens Journal.
The catered luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mattie Lanier Richey Center, 101 Sportsplex Drive in Atlanta. As it does each year, the 2017 event will feature not only food but door prizes, local vendors – and one long-stemmed rose for each woman. The anticipated event is a chance for area business women to enjoy lunch and a fun and relaxing break from their day.
“The Business Women’s Luncheon is one of our best attended events of the year,” said AACOC President Miranda Johnson. “All the guests have a wonderful time browsing the expo tables, and of course lunch is always great!”
Tables from local vendors, always one of the luncheon’s most popular features, include goodies, samples and information. Among those participating this year are Jen’s Custom Creations, Family Eye Care, Terri’s Treasures, Woodforest Bank, Atlanta Athletics, O’Farrell Country Vineyards, Healthcare Express, Red River Pharmacy and Gifts, Fidelity Communications, Guaranty Bank and Trust, Red River Credit Union, Anytime Fitness, Merle Norman, Kids Dental Center and Century 21 (Jill Crocker). The luncheon is made possible by its sponsors, including Domino FCU, Guaranty Bank and Trust, Fidelity Communications, First National Bank, Superior Realty, Farmers Insurance and the City of Atlanta.
