Main St. railroad crossing in Atlanta undergoing repairs Tuesday afternoon

Motorists who normally travel FM 249 (Main Street) in Atlanta will need to find an alternate route this afternoon, March 28, according to Texas Department of Transportation officials.
Union Pacific Railroad will be closing the highway to through-traffic on this date to make repairs to the railroad crossing.
The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
