Campbell’s awards $10,000 to Atlanta Elementary School

Atlanta Elementary School recently received an unexpected gift to the tune of $10,000 given by the Campbell Soup Company.
AES Principal Todd Marshall said an anonymous parent or supporter nominated the school for the annual Campbell’s Grand Stand for Schools Sweepstakes. 
AES was one of 100 schools from across the country to receive the annual monetary award.
“We are extremely thankful to have been nominated by this individual and to have been selected by Campbell’s to receive this prize,” Marshall said.
Marshall added that Campbell’s has notified the individual who nominated AES that the school was chosen to receive the $10,000 gift.
Marshall said it hasn’t been decided how the school will use the money, but ideas include a new sign for AES among others.
