Rabbs nab 19 spots on All-District list

The District 5-4A All-District list was recently released and 19 Rabbs were honored for their efforts on the field this year.
Sophomore speedster Jawan King was named Offensive Newcomer of the Year by unanimous vote. King finished the season as Atlanta’s leading rusher.
Senior Layton Henson was tabbed the First Team Quarterback unanimously, and senior speedster Trin Taylor was named a First Team Wide Receiver and First Team Kick Returner.
Defensively senior Desmond Robinson was named a unanimous choice for the First Team Defensive Line, senior Tristan Allen was honored as a First Team Outside Linebacker by unanimous choice, senior Kelton Young received First Team Defensive Back honors, senior Ken Butler was selected as a First Team Utility player and sophomore Andrew Samples was named a First Team Special Teams specialist.
Kelton was also named a Second Team Running Back, senior Hunter Roberts was named a Second Team Wide Receiver and senior Christian Oliver was named a Second Team Offensive Lineman.
Senior Greg Young was named a Second Team Outside Linebacker, by unanimous vote, junior Gerrod Oliver was named a Second Team Inside Linebacker and senior Dontay Casey was named a Second Team Defensive Back.
Taking home Honorable Mention honors were: Nick Cooper, Reggie Blaylock, Roy Ibarra, Dustin Williams and Josh Wiley.
