Football
Last Thursday night the Queen City seventh and eighth grade football teams traveled to Daingerfield. The seventh grade team won 32-20, with Arlander White scoring three rushing touchdowns and Austin Terry adding another. Elijah Webster scored two, 2-point conversions for the Bulldogs. The seventh grade squad now sits at 6-0 on the season.
The eighth grade team ended with a 24-24 tie, as both QC and Daingerfield still remain undefeated on the season. Both teams battled extremely hard, as they were each able to put the ball in the endzone three times. Terunte Neal had two rushing touchdowns and Logan Shelton had also put the ball in the endzone for the Bulldogs.
This week the Bulldogs host Paul Pewitt.

Volleyball
On Oct. 18, the Lady Bulldogs’ volleyball program was in full force as they hosted Daingerfield.
The varsity team swept the Lady Tigers with scores of, 25-9, 25-6 and 25-19.
Maci Stringer had 27 Assists, Mackenzie Hozdic added eight kills and eight digs, and Cori Lang posted nine digs.
In the JV 1 contest QC topped Daingerfield, 25-7, 25-8, with Payton Beckham recording 10 assists and 10 points, and Ciara Walker adding four kills.
In the JV 2 battle QC won, 25-21, 25-14, behind Macey Belote’s six points.
 The M.U.M.S. volleyball programs battled Hughes Springs recently with the two teams splitting with the Lady Mustangs.
The sevcenth grade was out for pay back after losing to Hughes Springs in the Hughes Springs Tournament, but ultimately fell short to the Lady Mustangs by scores of, 25-21 and 25-22. The leading scorer for the Lady Bulldogs was Chyna Stiger with 13 service points.
The eighth grade once again dominated their district opponent. The Lady Bulldogs won the first two sets 25-8 and 25-7 leaving no doubt on defeating the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs. The leading scorer for the eighth grade game was Zoe Ebarb with 18 service points.
