Lady Tigers’ XC places third at district

Last week the Linden-Kildare Lady Tigers’ varsity cross country team placed third at the district meet, and advanced to regionals. 
The Lady Tigers posted three Top Ten Qualifiers: Peyton Turner was third overall, Lauren Spaniol was sixth overall and teammate Alayna Mason placed eighth overall. 
The team also consisted of runners Gillian Dossey, Kayden Wells, Kayla Hines and Averie Daniel. 
In the varsity boys’ division, Denver Hamilton, ran his first varsity district course which was a huge accomplishment for him and a goal he worked hard to reach.
The junior high girls competed very well with Kailon Carnley placing second, and Cambree Kerr placing 10th overall for the Lady Tigers. 
Rounding out the girls’ division for L-K was Kendall Wells and Zoe Scott. 
The junior high boys had an outstanding run as well, Cameron Jones placed third, Christopher Palmer was 11th, and adding to the team was Brenson Kirchner, Gavin Hernandez and Ashton Harper.
