L-K fares well at McLeod XC Meet

At the McLeod Cross Country Meet on Sept. 22, Linden-Kildare’s varsity girls’ Lady Tigers XC team placed fifth overall with three competitors placing in the top 20 at a meet recently. Lauren Spaniol was 13th overall, Peyton Turner 16th and Alayna Mason 19th. Teammates, Gillian Dossey, Jada Madlock, Kayla Hines and Averie Daniel finished strong in the 1A-4A varsity girls’ division as well. In the varsity boys’ division Mohab Khorshid raced through improving his time by four minutes. 
The junior high boys continued to stretch out among several runners. Maliki Castleberry and Gavin Hernandez competed, and both improved drastically, through their hard work and dedication. 
In the junior high girls’ division Kailon Carnley placed fourth overall with teammates, Kendall Wells, Zoe Scott, Cambree Kerr, Macey Schanfish and Haleigh Bell who all contributed to the team placing fifth overall.
