QC JV
Queen City’s junior varsity football team defeated Paris Chisum 24-6 last Thursday night at Smith-Wall Stadium.
Dylan Scott scored a rushing touchdown and added a 2-point conversion; Kemya Hicks ran back a 100 yard kickoff return for a touchdown; T.J. Stagner returned a fumble for a touchdown on defense and Nate Burden ran in two 2-point conversions for the young Bulldogs.

Varsity Volleyball
Queen City hosted DeKalb last Friday afternoon and swept the Lady Bears in three sets by scores of, 25-20, 25-7 and 25-16. 
Jessica Jones has seven kills and Maci Stringer posted 23 assists with five aces.

Jr. High Volleyball
Queen City’s junior high volleyball teams placed second (seventh grade) and first (eighth grade) respectively in the Hughes Springs Tournament.
The leading server for the seventh grade was Destinee Wells with 23 service points, and the leading servers for the eighth grade were Claire Bates (36) and Hannah Fitts (31).
On Sept. 12, the M.U.M.S. volleyball program traveled to New Boston for game three of district. 
Both the A and B teams competed and all were victorious over the Lady Lions.  
The seventh graders won their matches consecutively 25-11 and 15-25 bringing home their third district win the year. 
The leading server was Nyla Harrison serving 14 service points against New Boston.
The eighth graders also brought home two consecutive wins over the Lady Lions winning 25-16 and 22-25. 
The leading server was Claire Bates with 13 service points for the Lady Bulldogs.
