L-K takes on Queen City

Linden-Kildare’s Junior High football teams kicked off their season last night against the Queen City Bulldogs. The white team started their scrimmage slow, but the Tigers picked it up toward the end with several long runs and a pair of TD’s by Jaquavious Birmingham and Princeton Washington. 
The blue team also struggled against the undefeated Bulldogs, allowing the Bulldogs to pull away with the win. L-K’s stand-out player, Mason Johnson, established himself a team leader. He had several solid runs and also had some big tackles on defense.
