Sign up by Sept 16 for a race Glow Run race T-shirt

Organizers of the annual Glow Run 5k had 80 participants to sign up during the early-bird registration period. Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce President Miranda Johnson said that is more pre-registrants than had signed up at this point last year. 
More than 300 participants took part in the 2015 walk/run with runners from as far away as Dallas and Little Rock entering the race.
This year’s Glow Run is Oct. 1, with the race starting at 8 p.m. in downtown Atlanta.
Regular registration is $30. The race fee increases to $35 on the day of the race.
“Participants who want to be guaranteed a race T-shirt need to sign up by Friday Sept. 16,” Johnson said.

Johnson said the event will include food vendors and activities related to the event’s theme including a UV Paint Zone and Kids Glow Zone. 
“Our UV Paint Zone is going to be even bigger this year,” Johnson said. “We shine the black light on the participants and spray them with paint cannons. 
“If you don’t mind getting messy, it’s a lot of fun.”
