County School Districts Get ‘Fired Up’

Atlanta ISD and surrounding districts in the area were treated to the “Fired Up” enthusiasm of Aric Bostick as a welcome back from the superintendents. Bostick travels the country as a motivational speaker, looking to bring enthusiasm and purpose to educators, students, parents and corporations.
Atlanta, Avinger, Queen City, Linden-Kildare and Bloomburg ISD employees were all in attendance at the event.
Bostick encouraged educators to be excited about what they do each day and to treat each child as a new opportunity to change a life for the better. He told staff members that they had to take care of themselves physically and mentally to have a chance at being successful and to not be scared of being a leader when it comes to innovative ideas and styles. Bostick repeatedly reminded the audience that they were awesome and asked them to remember that as they started building relationships with students this year.
The local superintendents and principals were excited to have such an enthusiastic speaker who focused on team-building activities and on building relationships with each other and the students. Members of the audience completed several tasks where they interacted with those around them and were able to learn more about each other. Bostick also gave several ideas that educators could incorporate into their classrooms to make it an exciting and amazing year.
