Bogie Street closed for repairs

ATLANTA — Motorists who normally travel FM 1841 (Bogie Street) in Atlanta will need to find an alternate route on for about a month beginning Tuesday, June 28. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be closing the highway to through-traffic on this date to allow construction work to be completed at the intersection of FM 1841 and SH 77.
Traffic will officially be detoured on a signed route through Atlanta on SH 77 (Pine Crest Drive), FM 251 (Williams Street) and FM 249 (Main Street). Portable message boards will be placed near the construction zone to warn motorists of the scheduled road closure. Local traffic can access Bogie Street from Main Street, but there will be no access from SH 77. The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
