Berry named L-K Hometown Hero

LINDEN-- Each quarter the Linden-Kildare CISD selects an individual who, through his or her efforts, has shown sup¬port for the community of Linden-Kildare and L-K CISD.
The district is honored and proud to announce the latest recipient, Jerry Berry Plumbing and Mike Berry. Jerry Berry Plumbing has been a tremendous supporter of the community through engagement in various civic and school events and functions.
Mike is a second generation owner of Jerry Berry Plumbing and Electric Inc. He is a 1988 graduate of Linden-Kildare High School. He graduated from Texarkana College in 1989. He is the son of Jerry and Mary Lou Berry. His wife, Amanda, is also an L-K grad. They have one son, Bud and one grandson Case-who Mike says is a future L-K grad. Mike currently serves on the City Council.
“I am honored to be receiving this award. I lot of what we contribute or support we give is not for the recognition, but to help the community to be a better place for people to raise a family,” Mike said.
L-K CISD says it is thankful to Jerry Berry Plumbing and Electric and for Mike Berry and all that they contribute to our community.
