Lady Longhorns finish second in their own tournament

McLeod placed second at the Lady Longhorns’ Basketball Tournament which wrapped up this past weekend. In each of the three tourneys thay have competed in the Lady ’Horns have finished in the top three. The team is from left: Courtney Hanson, Jessica Keener, Selena Moon, Anna Parker, Kyndal Shepard, Erin Weaver, Shelby Davis, Emma Parker, Skyla Courtney and Lexy Morgan. McLeod hosted their own tournament this past week and finished in second place by just six points.
After defeating county rival Bloomburg 59-28 and Queen City’s JV team 57-13 the Lady ’Horns won on a forfeit by the McLeod JV team and lost to New Diana by a narrow margin of 49-48.
