McLeod Lady Longhorns take home 2nd place trophy

McLeod’s varsity girls’ basketball squad placed second in the James Bowie Tournament this past weekend and already has a third place finish in the Queen City tourney from earlier in the season. The ladies are from (L to R) Stevey Jo Hamilton, Selena Moon, Shelby Davis, Emma Parker, Anna Parker, Erin Weaver, Jessica Keener, Kyndal Shepard, Lexy Morgan, Courtney Hanson and Skyla Courtney. Kneeling is Assistant Coach Sean Glenn and Head Coach Marty Francis.

McLeod’s Lady Longhorns had a very successful weekend in the James Bowie Tournament as the championship game was decided by 11 points.
The Lady ’Horns smoked Avinger 46-19; a team that they met twice before this game.
