Students take part in Marshmallow Challenge

What do marshmallows, string and tape have in common with Geometry? Problem solving and teamwork. Linden-Kildare High School geometry students took the “Marshmallow Challenge” last week. The Challenge was designed in 2010 by Peter Skillman at TED, a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas. The Marshmallow Challenge is an instructive design exercise that encourages teams to experience simple but profound lessons in collaboration, innovation and creativity.
