Area scouts decommission flags

Area scouts receive a lesson in civics and patriotism Sept. 6 when they participated in a flag-burning decommissioning of United States flags at Atlanta’s American Legion hall. 
The event was sponsored by the Daughters of The American Revolution Trammels Trace Chapter with the assistance of the American Legion Post 258, 
Boy Scout Troop 311, Cub Scout Pack 311 and Girl Scouts from the Tree-O Service Unit.
