Boil advisory

The City of Queen City, Texas has issued a boil advisory.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption. To kill any possibly harmful bacteria and other microbes, water used for drinking, cooking and making ice should be boiled and cooled before consumption.
