Distracted driver causes accident on 59

A Texarkana woman received a citation after she rear-ended a vehicle with her vehicle when she was distracted by her cell phone.
The accident occurred just after noon on Monday, Aug. 18.
Tiffany Templeton, 29, of Texarkana, was traveling north on U.S. 59 just north of Queen City in a 2012 Hyundai Tucson when she looked at her cell phone, according to State Trooper Johnathan Prosperie of the Texas Department of Public Safety.
She told officers when she looked up, she rear-ended the other vehicle, a 2001 Buick driven by 44-year-old Joey Lon Moore of Queen City.
