MCT Theater presents three big summer shows

Three big shows are coming to Music City Texas Theater this summer starting with Whiskey Myers on Saturday, July 26.
Whiskey Myers has a confidence born of a long-standing brotherhood - a closeness that few groups can rival.
“We all grew up together around Palestine Texas,” bassist Gary Brown explains. “We’re two sets of cousins.”
Whiskey Myers second album, “Firewater” enjoyed a remarkable run on the Texas Music Charts that culminated with its single “Anna Marie” reaching number one.
Their new album “Early Morning Shakes,” is grounded in the sincere, fun-loving energy of their bar band roots and features a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin.
