Investigation ongoing in June 27 shooting deaths

Investigation is ongoing in the double shooting that occurred in Cass County on June 27 on County Road 2747 near Marietta in the western part of Cass County, according to Cass County Sgt. Terry Russell.
“We are still waiting on forensic evidence,” Sgt. Russell said.
Damon Robison, 32, along with a 12-year-old, were found deceased.
A 9-1-1 call was taken by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 10:42 on June 27, from a 13-year-old. Texas Department of Public Safety troopers, Morris County Sheriff’s deputies, Cass County Sheriff’s deputies and Hughes Springs Police officers responded.
