Area youth gathered at the Cass County Cowboy Church for a day of activities and learning during the 4-H Day Camp held June 7.
“Our aim was not only to promote and market the 4-H program to the public, but to engage and expose both 4-H members in the various project areas and programs which we offer,” said John Ferguson, extension agent with the AgriLife Extension Office in Linden.
Five educational stations were set up, as well as a general 4-H project display highlighting some projects and achievements by 4-H members for the current 4-H year.
Stations included ATV Safety, Fun With Plants, Heroes 4-Health, Horse Back Riding, and a booth set up by troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
