Linden-Kildare High School Principal Keri Winters has been named the 2014 Texas Rural Education Principal of the Year. This is only the second year that this award has been given.
The criteria for the TREA Principal of the Year include providing significant contributions to rural education, strengthening and improving the principals’ profession in rural schools and becoming a spokesperson and representative of TREA.
“I was very excited to be chosen as TREA Principal of the Year,” Winters said. “It’s always nice to know your efforts go appreciated and I think it speaks well of Linden-Kildare CISD.
