Remembering those lost in the line of duty

Nancy Durham’s sketch of local wood artist Oval P. Cope was deemed “Best of Show” in the adult division during the 2014 Linden Wildflower Trails Art Show held April 26 in downtown Linden.
There were adult entries competing in nine categories.
Other winners in the adult competition were:

People/Children: Sharon Cromer, D.D. Durham Award and first place; Nancy Lynn, second place; and Gay Durrant, third place.
Spirituality: Judy Lanier, first place; Charles Ellingburg, second place; and Darrell Rogers, third place.
Still Life: Oreta Wright, first place; Gay Durrant, second place; and Stella Ellington, third place.
