Public Works Director Robert Luzio wants to alert businesses and residents of possible water loss during a fire hydrant repair.
A major fire hydrant repair will take place on May 28 at the corner of Broad Street and Park Street. City crews will be exposing the fire hydrant assemble to make needed repairs.
Luzio said it is likely that the water will be shut off for a period of time during the repair process.
Crews will begin the repair process around 8:30 a.m. so residents are advised to plan accordingly.
During this time period Broad Street will be closed off from the 700 block to Washington Street. Park Street will be closed from Frazior Street to Broad Street.
