Hey Dallas! ‘WE MATTER’

A bus full of Cass County, Bowie County and other regional landowners, ranchers, farmers and conservationists made the trek to Arlington Wednesday to vocally oppose the proposed Marvin Nichols reservoir to the ears of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB).
What was most surprising, perhaps, was the amount of opposition to the project voiced by Dallas-area residents; some of which apologized to the northeast Texas residents for the actions of those supporting a project that would, according to experts, devastate the local Cass County economy and timber industry.
