Early voting for local elections underway

Early voting in local schools and city elections started Monday and will continue through Tuesday, May 6 for the May 10 election. Atlanta ISD, Queen City ISD and Bloomburg ISD are holding trustee elections. A mayoral election is being held for the city of Atlanta. 
Registered voters of the city of Atlanta will be voting for mayor, district 1 councilmember and at large councilmember.
Incumbent Mayor Keith Crow is running against opponent Marshall James Brooks IV for mayor of the City of Atlanta.
City councilmen Robert “Bob” Steger, councilman at large and District 1 Councilman Chris E. Collins, Sr. are running unopposed in the Atlanta City Council race. 
Terms of office are two years for these elected officials. 
Trustee incumbents Gus Schuhmann, Randall Thomason and Gene White are running against opponents Keri Richardson and Byron Haskins in the Atlanta ISD board of trustee’s election...
