Queen City hosted county rival Linden-Kildare on a beautiful Friday evening, and things got better for the ’Dawgs as they defeated the Tigers 6-3.
The game was scoreless until QC scored three runs in the fourth inning.
Chase Norman led off the fourth with a single and his courtesy runner, Ray Cook, was moved to third on a single to left field by Kendal Griffin.
Kolton Morgan singled home Cook for a 1-0 lead and the Bulldogs went up 3-0 after Griffin was balked home from third base and Morgan made his way from second to home on two passed balls.
