Reeder-Davis Funeral Home open in Ore City on Hwy. 259

This year Kris Brock, owner of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, added a third facility in Ore City to the facilities that are in Hughes Springs and Linden.
“The new building was the former hardware store on Highway 259 in Ore City,” Mr. Brock said. “I purchased the building from the Ore City Independent School District. They had originally bought the building to home their central office in. However, after they purchased it, a new school board was elected, and they did not want a central office off of the campus. I learned about the building and since Reeder-Davis Funeral Home has always served Upshur County and the surrounding area, decided to look into this purchase.
