Julia Beers to perform at Jan. 31 fundraiser in Linden

The Academy of Texas Music will present Julia Beers in concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31 at the Texas Music Barn, 301 E. Houston St. in Linden.
The show is a fundraiser for the Barn’s ADA compliant entrance ramp.
Since opening, the Texas Music Barn has struggled with accomodating physically challenged visitors to see shows. The famous steps in front of the ‘old Methodist church,’ which is now the Barn, have intimidated many and prevented others from entering the building.
