CASA volunteers offer support for children

“It’s a Wonderful Life” is Frank Capra’s Christmas classic that shows what life would have been like for businessman George Bailey if he had never been born.
The despair depicted by Bailey, played by Jimmy Stewart, is often shared by children in the foster care system, according to local Court Appointed Special Advocates® (CASA) volunteers I have spoken with. It is heartbreaking to hear that children ask, “Why was I born?
