Virginia Pillow Funderburk, 88, of Bloomburg, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Bright Star, Ark., to Homer and Addie Lou Pillow. She was a member of Sandhill Assembly of God Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, “Grannie,” sister and aunt. She loved her family
Her parents; a grandson, Greg McAdams; and a son-in-law, Bobby McAdams, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon McAdams Cross and husband Lee of Bloomburg, Jan Calhoun and husband Homer of Bloomburg and Connie Rayborn and husband Brent of Texarkana; one brother, David Pillow and wife Myrna of Texarkana; one sister, Betty West and husband Harold of Texarkana, Ark.; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Raines officiating. Interment will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Nash.
