Mike McBryde, 54, of Bloomburg, went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.
He was born Dec. 15, 1959, in Houston to Bill and Gwen McBryde. He worked for AT&T for 13 years and was a member of Atlanta Church of Christ. He was excellent with “hands on” hobbies. He often used his talents to fix vehicles and do carpentry work. He was a diehard Texas Longhorns fan.
His father, Bill McBryde, preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Kirkland and husband Eric of Spring, Megan Nichols and husband Casey of Texarkana, Mindee McBryde of Texarkana and Jahni McBryde of Spring; his mother, Gwen McBryde of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Jackie Harrison of Ft. Worth and Jennifer Maldonado of Austin; one grandson, Ethan Kirkland of Spring; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be before the funeral from noon until 1:45 P.M., Monday, Dec. 23, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, Hanner Funeral Chapel with Jacob Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow at Huffines Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
