RAYMOND H. MASON

Raymond H. Mason, 94, of Atlanta went to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, in a local adult care facility.
He was born March 29, 1919, in Springhill, La. He was a retired welder and pipefitter with local 237, Texarkana. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a Baptist by faith.
His wife, Mickey Mason and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by three sons, Danny Mason and wife Marty of Atlanta, Randy Mason and wife Barbara of Atlanta and Michael Mason and wife Patti of Atlanta; one brother, Clarence Mason of London, England; eight grandchildren, Rob Mason, Ron Mason, Bobby Mason, Josh Mason, Jeremey Mason, Shelley Endsley, Robyn Brooks and Kelly Jeter; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec.19, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chris Cowan officiating. Interment followed at Laws Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
