Giving thanks

Thanksgiving should always remind us there are many things we should thank God for in our lives at all times. It should not be just something we do around the day of Thanksgiving, but every day! When we pause and take a close look at our lives, there are always blessings that we can find to thank God for consistently.
I shared a brief devotional with a group of folks at our Associational Senior Adult Rally recently, and I think it is a great thought for us to keep in mind during this Thanksgiving holiday. Above all else, we should be thankful for the Lord Jesus, Our Good Shepherd. He knows you better than anyone else, yet loves you more than anyone possibly can! He wants to work in your life daily as your Good Shepherd; that’s the picture David painted of Him in that beautiful 23rd Psalm. Take a moment to read that Psalm right now.
