EVELYN ‘MAMA’ MILLS

Evelyn “Mama” Mills, 95, of Doddridge, Ark., went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Muskogee, Okla., to Albert and Carrie Willis. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. “Mama Mills” loved to spend time with her grandchildren and tending to her flower garden.

Her husband, Leo Mills; a son, Denver Mills; a daughter, Cheryl Mills and her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by seven sons, Leo D. Mills and wife Joyce of Garland, Doyle Mills and wife Gail of Broken Bow, Okla., Billy Mills and wife Georgia of Doddridge, Delmer Mills and wife Vonda of Broken Bow, Gary Mills and wife Zona of Irving, Larry Mills and wife Sherrie of Doddridge and Terry Mills and wife Natalie of Doddridge; three daughters, Ann Davis and husband Earl of Idabel, Okla., Linda Farmer and husband James of Doddridge and Meryl Davis and husband Harold of Idabel; a sister, Rachel Doris Upton of Eureka, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Redland Cemetery in Idabel, Okla., with Bro. Gregg Parnell officiating under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
